Welcome to the Writing Center!
Writers from all courses and disciplines come to the Writing Center to meet with trained writing consultants to discuss their ideas and to plan, develop, revise, and edit their writing in an atmosphere of collaborative learning. All student writers are welcome. Conferences are free.
Drop by the Writing Center in Sundquist Hall, room 119, for help with papers you are writing for any UWS classes. Meet with our graduate and undergraduate writing consultants--we can help you gather ideas, get a draft going, organize information, revise and develop ideas, provide evidence to support your main point, correct surface errors, and/or check on documentation. Sessions last 30 minutes.
Hours: Monday through Thursday 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Variable hours Friday. Check here for updates. Some evening hours may be scheduled in the residence halls.
