International Admissions – The OIP handles all aspects of international student admissions, including recruitment, correspondence with prospective students, application processing, international credential evaluation, and initial academic and immigration advising.
International Student Services – The OIP provides services related to international students, including support and assistance concerning visas and related immigration issues. It also conducts new student orientation and offers guidance regarding social, cultural and academic issues. The OIP serves as a resource center for and about international students.
Study Abroad - The OIP helps coordinate study abroad programs offered by UW-S and provides assistance to students who participate in study abroad programs offered by other UW universities.
National Student Exchange - The OIP coordinates UW-Superior's participation in the NSE, a consortium of 190 schools in the US, Canada and several US territories. UWS students can apply to attend the other NSE schools for one semester or for a full academic year.
