Application Process

All students will need to submit:

  1. a letter of intent
  2. three letters of recommendation
  3. undergraduate transcripts
  4. current GRE/MAT scores.

Financial Aid

Students may apply for grants, scholarships, student assistant and financial aid through the office of financial aid. Please call (715) 394-8200 for more information or visit http://www.uwsuper.edu/wb/finaid/

Classes prior to admission

If a student wants to take classes as a graduate specialist before being formally admitted into the program, we recommend 12 units (which is the limit which can be taken as a graduate specialist) We recommend choosing from the following classes:

  • COUN 702 – Theories of Counseling

  • COUN 704 - Introduction to Counseling

  • COUN 724 – Behavior Management

  • COUN 728– Career Counseling

Advising

All graduate students are assigned a faculty academic advisor once they are formally admitted into the program.
